About Riftbound Signature Cards

A signature card is a card that belongs to one champion. The word Signature stands over its type, the champion's name is among its tags, and the card may only go in a deck whose Legend is that champion: Bullet Time goes only in a deck led by Miss Fortune. A deck may hold no more than 3 signature cards in all, 3 copies of one or one each of three.

The restriction is what the card pays for. A signature card tends to be stronger than a card of its type would otherwise be, and it is written around the champion's own plan, so it is often the card the deck is built to find. Every signature card is printed at Epic, which makes it one of the harder cards of a set to pull from a booster pack.

The official card gallery lists 60 signature cards across six sets: 12 in Origins, 4 in Proving Grounds, 14 in Spiritforged, 12 in Unleashed, 9 in Vendetta and 9 in Radiance so far. 49 are spells, 8 are gear and 3 are units, belonging to 57 champions. In Origins every Legend came with a signature spell of its own; the sets since have given some champions a signature gear or unit as well.

Not to be confused with the signature printing of the rarity guide: an overnumbered card that carries the artist's signature in foil and a star in its number. That is a collector's printing of a card; a signature card is a kind of card. The list below shows the signature cards by set, the newest first, with the champion each belongs to.
