Riftbound: The Reckoning

What The Reckoning is about

Riot's question for the set is what happens when dormant behemoths are awakened. The Reckoning brings some of the biggest champions of League of Legends to the game: of its nine new Legends, Aurelion Sol, Cho'Gath, Shyvana, Vayne and Zilean are named so far, with four more to come. Riot counts 264 cards in the main set and 67 Showcase printings, and the set uses the code REC and the hashtag #RBReckoning.

Two Champion Decks come with the set, Vayne in Chaos and Order and Shyvana in Fury and Body, beside the booster packs and displays, a Vault Bundle and the Pre-Rift kits. Riot has said little more yet: the set's mechanics, its prices and the rest of its Legends wait for the first State of the Game of 2027.

The Legends of The Reckoning

The Reckoning brings 9 new Legends, and Riot has named 5 of them. Vayne and Shyvana lead the two Champion Decks that come with the set; the other Legends come in the booster packs.

• Mount Targon

  Aurelion Sol

The Star Forger is one of the three Legends on the fronts of the booster packs. He has no card in Riftbound yet.

• The Void

  Cho'Gath

The Terror of the Void is the monster of Riot's teaser for the set, a card drawn as a creature feature poster named Insatiable Carnivore. He has no card in Riftbound yet.

• Demacia

  Shyvana

  Champion Deck

The Half-Dragon leads one of the two Champion Decks, in Fury and Body, and stands on the second booster pack front. She has no card in Riftbound yet.

• Demacia

  Vayne

  Champion Deck

The Night Hunter leads the other Champion Deck, in Chaos and Order, and stands on the third booster pack front. Her only champion unit so far, Vayne, Hunter from Origins, is a Fury card, so a Chaos and Order Legend cannot run her and the deck brings a new Vayne unit in one of its own domains.

• Shurima

  Zilean

The Chronokeeper is the fifth Legend Riot has named. His champion unit Zilean, Time Mage came in Unleashed.
