About Riftbound Signed Cards

A signed card is an overnumbered card printed once more with the signature of its artist in foil over the artwork. The star after the number tells it apart: the overnumbered Legend 299 of Origins comes again as 299*. The rarity guide calls it the signature printing. It plays exactly like the standard card and the overnumbered one, with the same name, text and cost, and counts as a copy of either in a deck.

Riot puts the odds at about 1 in 10 overnumbered cards, which makes a signed card about one booster pack in 720: the hardest pull a set has apart from its Ultimate Rare, and the card a set's chase is usually about. Every signed card carries the hexagonal Showcase gem, whatever the rarity of the card it reprints.

The official card gallery lists 45 signed cards across four sets: 12 in Origins, 12 in Spiritforged, 12 in Unleashed and 9 in Vendetta. 33 are Legends and 12 are units, signed by 44 artists. Not every overnumbered card is signed: of the 105 overnumbered cards in the gallery, 45 have a signed printing.

Not to be confused with the signature cards: the spells, gear and units that belong to one champion and may only be played in that champion's deck. Those are a class of card; this is a printing. The list below shows the signed cards by set, the newest first. Open a card for its text, its other printings and its prices.
