Origins Trial Deck: Volibear

56 cards

A free trial deck built around Volibear: a champion Legend, a 40 card deck, 12 runes and 3 battlefields. It was handed out at the how-to-play sessions of Gen Con 2025, three months before Origins came out. Every card in it has SAMPLE printed across it, so the cards are not for tournament play.

Jul 31, 2025

Each player of a how-to-play session at Gen Con 2025 in Indianapolis, July 31 to August 3, got two of the four trial decks (Jinx, Yasuo, Viktor and Volibear) picked at random, with an Ahri, Alluring promo card. The deck box says it is not for resale, and the decks were never sold in stores. Released date is the first day of Gen Con. Riot has not published this decklist on its site.
