Riftbound: the League of Legends trading card game is sold in a small number of product kinds, and most of them come back with every set. Each main set comes in booster packs with ready-made decks around them, and the newer sets add a Vault and a kit for the Pre-Rift events in stores. Beside the sets stand a starter box, bundles and collector sets made for one occasion, and official sleeves and playmats.

The prices in this article are launch prices: the prices in US dollars that Riot set when a product came out, except where a sentence gives the price of today.

Which products come out with every set?

Every main set of Riftbound comes in booster packs and in booster displays of 24 packs, and every set comes with ready-made decks of one kind or another. Since Spiritforged, the second set, every set comes with Pre-Rift events and a kit for each player, and since Unleashed, the third set, every set comes with a Vault as well. The table compares the products that hold cards.

What are booster packs and booster displays?

A booster pack is the basic product of every set. It holds 14 random cards from one set in fixed slots: seven Commons, three Uncommons, two cards of Rare or better, one foil card and one rune or token. Every card of a set can turn up in a pack, and a pack has a launch price of $4.99.

A booster display is the sealed box that stores sell packs from, with 24 packs of one set and a launch price of $119.99. The articles on what is in a booster pack and what a booster display is go into the slots and the odds.

Which products hold a ready-made deck?

Three kinds of product hold decks that are ready to play the moment the box is opened, each built around a Legend.

  • Champion Decks hold one deck of 56 cards with one booster pack, a paper playmat, a deck box and a rules booklet. Origins had Champion Decks for Jinx, Viktor and Lee Sin, Spiritforged for Fiora and Rumble, and Unleashed for Vi and Vex. Each had a launch price of $19.99.
  • Showdown Decks hold two decks of 56 cards made to play against each other, with two booster packs, two paper playmats and two deck boxes. Vendetta brought the first box, Zed against Shen, and Radiance has Seraphine against Evelynn, with its release on 23 October 2026. Each box has a launch price of $34.99.
  • Proving Grounds is the starter box for two to four new players. It holds four decks built around Annie, Garen, Lux and Master Yi, four acrylic champion figures to keep score with and a How to Play booklet. It came out with Origins on 31 October 2025 at $29.99, and Riot reprinted it in 2026 with a new printer at $39.99.

The Legends below lead five of these decks: Dark Child for Annie, Loose Cannon for Jinx, Grand Duelist for Fiora, Master of Shadows for Zed and Starry-Eyed Songstress for Seraphine.

The article on ready-made decks compares them all, and the articles on Champion Decks, Showdown Decks and the Proving Grounds box describe each kind.

What are a Vault and a Pre-Rift kit?

A Vault is a card storage box with six booster packs of its set, a full set of 36 basic runes with six of each, and full-art tokens. Riot added the Vault as a new product with Unleashed, and Vendetta and Radiance each have one, all with a launch price of $34.99. The runes make it useful to a player who starts to build decks, since every deck needs 12 runes and a booster pack holds at most one.

A Pre-Rift kit is not sold on its own. Each player at a Pre-Rift event, the Sealed event that stores hold in the week before a set releases, gets one kit for taking part: a small ready-made deck of 15 cards with a Legend and a champion unit, five booster packs of the new set and a promo card. The Pre-Rift events of Radiance are dated 16 to 22 October 2026. The article on the Vault explains why it holds 36 runes, and the one on the Pre-Rift kit shows which promo card the kit of each set holds.

Which bundles and collector sets are there?

Bundles and collector sets are made for one occasion rather than for one set, and several come in limited numbers. Most hold a card printed for that product alone.

Riot has said it will not reprint limited editions such as the Worlds Bundle 2025 and the T1 2025 Worlds Champion Signature Edition, so a player who wants one later gets it from another owner, who sets the price. Collector products come from local game stores and from online marketplaces: Cardmarket in Europe, TCGplayer in the United States and CardTrader on both sides of the Atlantic. Today the Arcane Box Set, with a launch price of $69.99, sells for $528.12, and the Worlds Bundle 2025, with a launch price of $99.99, sells for $1,088.15.

The article on bundles and box sets describes each one, and the one on cards that come only in boxed products lists their special printings.

Which accessories does Riot make?

Riot makes art sleeves and playmats to go with its sets. Unleashed brought four designs of each, with Poppy, LeBlanc, Master Yi and Vi. The Unleashed art sleeves come 100 to a pack, enough for one deck, with a launch price of $16.99. The Unleashed playmats are made of neoprene, measure 24 by 14 inches (61 by 35.5 centimeters) and have a launch price of $27.99. Radiance, with its release on 23 October 2026, has a collection of its own.

None of them is needed for a first game, since the ready-made decks come with paper playmats, and at casual store events sleeves are only required when the head judge asks for them. The article on official sleeves and playmats covers them in more detail.

Which products has Riot announced for 2027?

Riot announced the products of its next two sets on 3 August 2026, and they follow the same pattern.

  • Legacy, the sixth set, with its release on 29 January 2027, brings four Champion Decks for Tryndamere, Ashe, Lux and Garen beside its packs, displays, Vault and Pre-Rift kits. From Legacy on, a booster pack holds six Commons instead of seven, and the slot that replaces the seventh Common holds a Legend or a battlefield.
  • Proving Grounds, 2nd Edition, with its release on 19 February 2027, is a new starter box with four decks for Heimerdinger, Karma, Vladimir and Illaoi. Riot has announced it at $40.
  • The Reckoning, the seventh set, with its release on 30 April 2027, brings Champion Decks for Shyvana and Vayne beside the same products.

The article on which sets come after Radiance goes through their Legends, their release dates and what changes in booster packs.

Which product should you start with?

For most new players a ready-made deck is the best first product, because 14 random cards from one set do not make a deck. One player who wants to play at a store does well with a Champion Deck. Two players who want to learn together get the most from Proving Grounds, which teaches the game step by step, or from a Showdown box, whose two decks can go to a store event as they are. Packs, a display or a Vault make more sense once you have a deck to improve or a set to collect.

The products guide shows every product with its launch price and the cards inside it, and the article on which product to get first weighs the choices. You can also rip a pack on this site to see what a pack of each set can hold.
