Riftbound: the League of Legends trading card game has kept the same launch prices from one set to the next. Every booster display from Origins to Radiance, the fifth set with its release on 23 October 2026, has the same launch price, and so has every Champion Deck, every Showdown box and every Vault. Only one product has gone up so far: Proving Grounds, the starter box, whose reprint of 2026 has a launch price ten dollars higher than the first printing.
A launch price is the price in US dollars that Riot set for a product when it came out, also called its MSRP, the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Riot's own store sells many of its products at that price, while game stores and other retailers set prices of their own.
What did the products of each set cost at launch?
The products that come out with the sets have kept the same launch prices since Origins, the first set, came out on 31 October 2025. The table gives the launch price of each kind, beside the price in euros in Riot's store for Europe.
| Product | Launch price | Riot's store for Europe |
|---|---|---|
| Booster display of 24 packs | $119.99 | €127.99 |
| Champion Deck | $19.99 | €20.99 |
| Showdown Decks, two decks in one box | $34.99 | €36.99 |
| Vault | $34.99 | €36.99 |
| Art sleeves, 100 in a pack | $16.99 | €18.99 |
| Playmat | $27.99 | €29.99 |
All five booster displays, from Origins to Radiance with its release on 23 October 2026, have a launch price of $119.99. The seven Champion Decks of Origins, Spiritforged and Unleashed, for Jinx, Viktor, Lee Sin, Fiora, Rumble, Vi and Vex, each launched at $19.99. The Showdown box of Vendetta, Zed against Shen, has a launch price of $34.99, and so do the Vaults of Unleashed and Vendetta. The Showdown box of Radiance, Seraphine against Evelynn, and the Vault of Radiance are still to come with their set on 23 October 2026, and both have the same launch price of $34.99. The art sleeves and playmats of Unleashed launched at $16.99 and $27.99.
The Legends below lead four of these ready-made decks. Grand Duelist and Piltover Enforcer lead the Fiora and Vi Champion Decks at $19.99 each. Master of Shadows and Eye of Twilight lead the two decks of the Vendetta Showdown box, which has a launch price of $34.99 for both.
What does a single booster pack cost?
A single booster pack has a launch price of $4.99. UVS Games, which makes Riftbound under license from Riot, lists $4.99 a pack and $120 a display for Unleashed in its sell sheet. Riot's store sells packs by the display and not one at a time, at $119.99 for 24 packs, which comes to about $5 a pack.
Twenty-four packs at $4.99 come to $119.76, so at launch prices a display is not a discount on single packs. What it gives you is a whole box of one set at once, and whether that is worth getting depends on how many packs a player wants to open, which the article on whether a booster display is worth it weighs against single packs and single cards. Packs also come inside other products: one in every Champion Deck, two in a Showdown box and six in a Vault.
Which launch price has changed?
Proving Grounds is so far the only Riftbound product whose launch price has changed. The starter box came out with Origins on 31 October 2025 at $29.99. In January 2026 Riot announced a reprint made by a different printer, chosen to get the box back into production sooner, and said that the change also raised its price to $40. Riot's store lists the reprint at $39.99, and its store for Europe at €42.99. Today the box sells for $53.13.
The reprint holds the same four decks for Annie, Garen, Lux and Master Yi. Riot has said that its cards can look slightly different from those of the first printing, but that in blind tests its developers could not reliably tell the reprint apart from other English printings once the cards were sleeved.
A new starter box is set for 19 February 2027. Proving Grounds, 2nd Edition will hold four decks for Heimerdinger, Karma, Vladimir and Illaoi, and Riot has announced it at $40 in its overview of products and sets into 2027. By October 2026 Riot had not given prices for the products of Legacy, the sixth set.
What did the bundles and collector sets cost?
Bundles and collector sets are made for one occasion, and their prices vary far more than those of the products of each set. Several were made in limited numbers or sold only through a drawing in Riot's store or at events.
| Product | Launch price |
|---|---|
| Lunar Revel Bundle 2026 | $39.99 |
| Arcane Box Set | $69.99 |
| Secret Garden Bundle | $70 |
| T1 2025 Worlds Champion Player Bundle | $70 |
| Worlds Bundle 2025 | $99.99 |
| T1 2025 Worlds Champion Signature Edition | $360 |
The Lunar Revel Bundle 2026 is an edition in Simplified Chinese. The Secret Garden Bundle is sold only at selected events, and both T1 products, the Player Bundle and the Signature Edition, are sold through drawings in Riot's store, as Riot's announcement of the T1 collection sets out. The Arcane Box Set and the Worlds Bundle 2025 were limited English editions in the same store. The Gift of the Rift Bundle, with its release on 4 December 2026, had no announced price by October 2026. Most of these products hold cards printed for that product alone, which the article on bundles and box sets describes one by one.
Riot has said in its State of the Game of 3 August 2026 that it will not reprint collector's products such as the Worlds Bundle 2025 and the Signature Edition, so collectors alone set their prices once the stock is gone. Today the Worlds Bundle 2025 sells for $1,088.15, against its launch price of $99.99, and the Signature Edition for $8,500, against $360.
Why do stores often charge more than the launch price?
A launch price is a suggested price, and every seller sets its own, so what a product costs depends on where you get it. Riot's store sells at the launch price, while local game stores and the sellers on the marketplaces ask prices of their own: Cardmarket in Europe, TCGplayer in the United States and CardTrader on both sides of the Atlantic.
When a product is hard to find, the price in stores and online climbs above its launch price. Riot wrote in November 2025 that demand for Origins had gone far beyond what it expected, and that this made it harder for players to get products, above all at their launch price. Today an Origins booster display sells for $221.90, against its launch price of $119.99, and an Origins booster pack for $12.70, against $4.99. The article on why products sell above their launch price sets out three things that push a product higher: a small print run, cards found in no other product and booster packs that can hold the rarest printings.
Which product gives the most for its launch price?
For a player who wants to play, a ready-made deck gives the most at launch prices. A Champion Deck at $19.99 is a complete deck of 56 cards with a booster pack, while the same money gets four packs that do not make a deck. A Showdown box gives two decks for $4.99 less than two Champion Decks, and Proving Grounds comes to about $10 a deck at the price of the reprint.
For a player who already has a deck, a Vault is good value. Its six packs come to about $30 at launch prices, so the 36 basic runes, the tokens and the storage box add about $5. What a player spends in all depends on who plays, which the article on what it costs to start playing works out per player.
The products guide lists every product with its launch price, its release date and what is inside. To see what the packs of each set can hold before you get one, you can rip a pack on this site. A launch price only helps while a product can still be found at it, which depends on how long Riot keeps a product on sale.
