Riftbound: the League of Legends trading card game reaches most players through local game stores, the same stores that hold its weekly events. Riot Games also sells part of each set itself, in its online Riot Merch Store, and in some countries larger chains carry the game too. A few products never reach a shelf at all and come only at events or straight from Riot.
Where do most players get Riftbound products?
Most players get their Riftbound products at a local game store, and Riot itself called the local game store the best place to get Riftbound in English when it announced the English launch. Stores that sell the English edition get their stock from distributors authorized by UVS Games, the company that manufactures the game. By April 2026, Riot counted more than 6,000 stores worldwide in the Riftbound Gaming Network, the network of stores that run official Riftbound events.
A store offers what Riot's own store does not. It can sell the packs of a booster display one at a time, while the Riot Merch Store does not sell single packs. Many stores sell single cards as well. If you want a new set on its release day, Riot suggests asking your local store whether it takes preorders.
The event finder shows the stores near you that run Riftbound events, and Riot's own store locator lists the stores of the Riftbound Gaming Network. If your favorite store does not carry Riftbound yet, Riot asks players to encourage it to sign up, and a store that wants to join contacts UVS Games.
Does Riot sell Riftbound products itself?
Yes. Riot sells booster displays, ready-made decks and some bundles in the Riot Merch Store, its own online store, and an order there needs a Riot ID. Since Spiritforged, Riot has used drawings for purchases from the store.
Entering a drawing is free. Players sign up with their Riot ID during a window of a few days, and names are drawn at random, with checks that weed out fake accounts. A player who is drawn gets an email with a link and has 24 hours to complete the purchase, after which the product goes to the next name. A booster display is limited to one per Riot ID.
Since Unleashed, Riot has planned two drawings for each booster set, one before the release and one after it. For Radiance, players in North America and Europe could sign up from 25 to 30 September 2026 for a booster display, with the Showdown Decks in the same drawing, and Riot began drawing names on 5 October 2026. Riot describes its store as a way to reach players who have no store near them and to keep products away from scalpers.
Can you find Riftbound in other stores and online?
Sometimes, depending on the country and the product. When Riot announced the English launch in 2025, it said that some mass market stores might carry Riftbound from the start. In France, Riot said that French Riftbound would also appear in big box stores such as Micromania. The Gift of the Rift Bundle, with its release on 4 December 2026, is one product that Riot has said will be sold by mass retailers as well as by local game stores.
Online, other sellers offer sealed products and single cards on marketplaces such as TCGplayer in the United States, Cardmarket in Europe and CardTrader on both sides of the ocean, and single cards also come from local game stores. Once a product has sold out in stores, a marketplace is often the only place it can still be found. The price there is set by the sellers, not by Riot, and when more players want a product than there are copies, its price can rise above its launch price. The Origins Booster Display had a launch price of $119.99 and sells for $221.90 today.
Which countries is Riftbound sold in?
English Riftbound launched on 31 October 2025 in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania. In May 2026, Riot announced that English products were also heading to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The other editions are sold where their language is read.
- Simplified Chinese is published by Shining Soul in mainland China, where the game came out first, in 2025.
- Traditional Chinese is published by Glorious Soul (HK) Limited for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, where English products are sold next to it.
- French cards have been on sale in France since 29 May 2026, and French stores can still get the English products as well.
- Korean cards reached stores in Korea on 18 September 2026, starting with Origins.
The editions are catching up with each other. Radiance, with its release on 23 October 2026, is the first set to come out on one day in English, Simplified Chinese and French, three of the five languages Riftbound is printed in.
Which products are not sold in stores?
Some products and cards are handed out for taking part in something, and others are sold in one place only.
- Pre-Rift kits go to each player at a Pre-Rift event, held in stores in the week before a set releases, and are never sold on their own. The Pre-Rift events of Radiance are set for 16 to 22 October 2026.
- Nexus Night promo packs are a prize for taking part in the weekly Nexus Night of a store, while the store's supply lasts.
- The Flash promo went to stores from late April 2026 as a reward for players, and Riot asked stores not to sell it as a single card.
- The Secret Garden Bundle is sold only at selected events, starting with Gen Con 2026. It had a launch price of $70 in English and sells for $295.89 today on a marketplace. Riot's list for the rest of 2026 ends with Paris Games Week and Spiel Essen, both from 22 to 25 October 2026, and Lucca Comics & Games, from 28 October to 1 November 2026.
- Collector's products such as the Worlds Bundle 2025 and the T1 2025 Worlds Champion Signature Edition came in English through the Riot Merch Store. The Chinese edition of the Worlds Bundle 2025 was sold on site at Worlds in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu.
The cards below come from these places. Bashful Bloom, the Legend of Lillia, is the Secret Garden printing, and Teemo, Scout came in the Origins Nexus Night packs. The pictures of Heimerdinger, Academy Instructor, whose promo is in the Radiance Pre-Rift kit, and of Flash show the regular printings of those two cards.
Where is the best place to get Riftbound products?
For most players, the best place is a local game store that runs Riftbound events. It sells packs one at a time, it can tell you when the next set arrives, and its events are where Pre-Rift kits and Nexus Night promos are handed out. A player in North America or Europe who wants a whole booster display of a new set can enter the Riot drawings as well, since a player pays only if a name is drawn.
For a product that has sold out, check whether Riot plans to bring it back before you pay a high price. Riot said in its State of the Game of August 2026 that it keeps booster sets available at least as long as they are legal in Standard and reprints them to meet demand, and it has already reprinted Origins boosters and Proving Grounds. When you get sealed products from a seller you do not know, check the seller and the packaging first, and compare the product with the signs of a fake Riftbound product.
The products guide lists every Riftbound product with its launch price and release date. A launch price is the price Riot suggested at release, so it is the number to hold a marketplace price against, and what Riftbound products cost at launch lists those prices product by product.
Prices marked with a dot are live market prices.
